By now everybody has heard about the murder of late-term abortion doctor George Tiller.  The irony is palpable as he was gunned down in a church by a pro-life activist.  Funny how things in this wacky, mixed up world tend to pan out.

Since the news of his death, virtually every mainstream pro-life organization has flat-out condemned his murder.   As well we all should.  To paraphrase the “Most Interesting Man in the World” on murdering another human being to further one’s cause:  The time is never, I’ll let you figure out the place.  Stay sane my friends.

Of course the left will try and paint conservatives and the pro-life crowd as people who just don’t care about women’s “health” as they do.  And by “health,” I mean “choice,” and by “choice,” I mean killing babies after the 21^st week—or over halfway.  And in Barack Obama’s case, voting against legislation that would allow medical attention to babies surviving the abortion procedure.

But I digress…

There is no doubt George Tiller and his late-term abortion practice rise to the level of doucheness few have achieved.  Pedophiles still hit that high mark in my book.  But regardless of how anyone feels about him, murder is nothing short of domestic terrorism. 

Tiller’s killer, in an attempt to impose a policy by force that one is unable to get through democratic means, is no better than Obama’s close personal friend William Ayers.  Or any other nutjob whacko using violence for their extremist ends (that means you too Mr. “Religion of Peace”).

While I am not a religious person, I do have a question for my Christian friends out there:  Wouldn’t a proper response to any death be to pray that God will have mercy on a flawed sinner, who’s now at last seen the error of his ways?  Perhaps Tiller might have changed his mind about abortion and repented in years to come.  Killing him certainly ended that chance, no?

OH:  Tiller’s killer, Scott Roeder, was from Merriam, KS.  A suburb of Kansas City and about three and a half hours from Wichita where the doctor was killed.  Three and a half hours.  That is a long time to stay pissed off.  Granted, one can argue that he had some pent up anger brewing up inside.  Or maybe just insane.  But c’mon, three and half hours?  That’s dedication holmes.
