The Obama followers apparently have come up with their own special sign language to signal their religion to each other. 

“We thought, ‘Let’s try and start a movement where even while walking down the street, people would hold up the O and you would know that they were for Obama,’ “ 

“You interlace your hands in a circle, the interlacing being a symbol of different types of people coming together and the circle a symbol of unity,” 

“We want to see it everywhere, but more importantly we want this sign to take the world by storm.”

Ironically, it symbolizes another facet of Obama’s campaign.  His accomplishments.  Fun fact:  In American sign language, the sign for “asshole” is the circle formed with one hand.  So this gesture must mean “Big Asshole.”  Hey, I am just noting the similarities…

Moving on, I found this over at Orion Hood:  “Can’t you just see thousands of people holding this sign up over their heads, cheering wildly for The One?  Be sure to watch the entire video from below – you may recognize it from Pink Floyd’s The Wall.”  He managed to find video “…that shows us Obama’s coronation…er…nomination…at the Democratic National Convention. Note that he’s already done the speech at the Victory Column in Berlin, Germany…”
